ali Morgulis has appeared in Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Croatia, Israel, Taiwan and the United States as soloist and chamber musician. Her orchestra engagements included numerous performances with the Thüringen Philharmonie in Germany (2004-2007), as well as performances with Haifa Symphony Orchestra in Israel, Padova and Veneto Orchestra in Italy, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra in Croatia and Malaga Symphony Orchestra in Spain. Ms. Morgulis has been the featured artist on WQXR Radio of the "New York Times," and WGBH Classical radio in Boston. Her first solo CD was recently produced by IPA label in Vienna.


 

edicated collaborative artist, Ms. Morgulis has appeared in concerts with Shlomo Mintz, Vadim Gluzman and Stefan Jackiw among others. As a guest artist, she performed with the Borromeo Quartet in Boston, and with Jupiter Chamber Players in New York. Every summer Tali Morgulis serves as a faculty pianist for the "Keshet Eilon" International Violin Master Course in Israel (under the patronage of Shlomo Mintz). She also coached and performed chamber music at the "Apple Hill" International Festival in New Hampshire, and the International Summer Music Festival at the Indiana University in Bloomington. Ms. Morgulis participated in the International Piano "Meranofest" in Italy and in "Paxos" Chamber Music Festival in Greece.


 

irst Prize winner of 2003 Stanislav Stancic International Piano Competition in Zagreb (Croatia), Ms. Morgulis was also awarded the Special Prize for the best performance of a Classical Composition and the Award for Highest Artistic Achievements from Zagreb Academy of Music. Her additional most recent awards included 2nd Prize at Pinerolo and 3rd Prize at Jaen International Piano Competitions in Italy and Spain respectively, as well as Audience Choice Award and the 3rd Prize at Ima Hogg Young Artists Competition in Houston, Texas.


 

ali began her music studies at the age of 4 in her native Ukraine. At the age of 15, she immigrated to Israel, where she continued her music education. Ms. Morgulis holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Samuel Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv and a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory in Boston. Tali Morgulis was fortunate to study with such wonderful musicians as Esther Balasha, Michael Boguslawsky, Wha Kyung Byun, Lev Natochenny and Patricia Zander. America-Israel Cultural Foundation had generously supported Ms. Morgulis' studies for over ten years.


 

ince fall 2005, Ms. Morgulis has been serving on the faculty of Fort Hays Stated University in Hays, Kansas. Enthusiastic students and brilliant colleagues at Fort Hays, as well as the fresh air and sempre blue sky of the rural High Plains, contribute greatly to Ms. Morgulis artistic and personal growth. In addition to her musical activities, Tali loves to dance Salsa and to work in ceramics.
